The FPGA discord group (https://discord.gg/25DpDCS) now has more than 5,000 members. There are now at least 7 different companies/individuals working on public mining software for the VU9P FPGA platform. Because of this, there is intense competition to produce the fastest mining software. Most of the major algorithms are being worked on by several groups independently.
Core Voltage Adjustments
The VCU1525 and BTU9P cards can have their core voltage modified by using a DC1613A USB dongle:
VCU1525 – DC1613A Adapter Assembly Guide
You can now buy the fully modded DC1613A cable from https://shop.fpga.guide.
Many FPGA cards have the capacity for software controlled voltage modifications. These cards include the BCU1525, XUPVV4, CVP-13, TalentPros TPS-1525, Krunchlabs MA-X1. Those cards do not need the DC1613A dongle.
The VCU1525 and BTU9P can access software voltage control by a BMC firmware upgrade.
NON-VOLATILE PROGRAMMING GUIDE
We have created a guide to show you how to set up your FPGA card in a non-volatile fashion so it retains its bitstream and core voltage settings after a power failure. Non-volatile programming should only be done on cards that DO NOT have the Allmine shell pre-installed. If your card has the Allmine shell, the non-volatile procedure will delete the shell and this is not recommended:

WARNING!!!!
Crypto-mining algorithms can stress FPGA boards to the maximum in terms of current and temperature. Running a bitstream beyond what your hardware is capable of cooling or supporting can result in TOTAL FAILURE of your hardware within hours. It is your responsibility to understand the limitations of your hardware (if you are uncertain, join the FPGA discord listed above and ask other members about safe limits). For the VCU1525, we recommend that air-cooled cards not exceed 170A core current. Various bitstreams require different operating voltages. The required operating voltage is listed in brackets. Operating the bitstream at a different voltage than the recommended voltage can cause problems, hash errors, or failure of your hardware. Maximum hash rate usually requires under-volting the card *and* immersion or water cooling. Keep in mind that for all boards, it is the power regulators that fail first, NOT THE FPGA. Therefore the FPGA temperature is only an indirect indicator of the temperature of the critical power regulators. Please see the Hardware Modifications page for a simple change you can make to VCU1525 boards to cool the regulators more effectively. Currently the highest ‘stress’ bitstream we offer is the 17GH/s 0xToken bitstream for the VU9P cards. This bitstream requires operating at 0.76V or more, and requires immersion or water cooling to hold the FPGA below 50C.
REGISTERED USERS BITSTREAMS
Many bitstreams such as RB1, RB2, RB3, and RB4 are available to registered users only. To register, please send a 3-5 second video of your FPGA cards mining 0xBitcoin to info@zetheron.com. The video should show both your cards, and how many cards, and the PC monitor with one miner instance per card. Once you register, you will be e-mailed the RB1/RB2/RB3/RB4 bitstreams along with mining instructions and coin/algorithm information. The registered users bitstreams are by far the most profitable, typically ranging from $10 to $30 per day based on your hardware, cooling system, and the market conditions. These ‘registered’ bitstreams have been reviewed by independent youtubers such as The Technicals (https://youtu.be/2Er8C1ZRSeE?t=68) and Motorcycles Vancouver (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1x7XYsvjQE).
